EBL Simultaneous Pairs

The 2014 European Simultaneous Pairs will be played on

Monday 24th and Wednesday 26th November

This fun event is played in clubs as normal, but all the material needed to organise the heat is sent via internet. The results are scored using the ECats Scoring system, and the booklets are made available in Acrobat format as well as being displayed as web pages with the results. No printed material is distributed for this event.

How to Enter

The Scoring

This event must be scored by the club according to these instructions, with the scores being uploaded to our servers within 24 hours of the end of play. We regret that no other scoring method can be used, nor can the travellers be sent to us for keying.

The Commentaries

The commentary for the Monday event is by Mark Hortonand the Wednesday commentary was written Julian Pottage. Will they get it right ? You will only be able to tell if you play in the event, so do encourage your club to join us !

Master Points

It is, of course, up to each NBO to award their own Master Points to the winning pairs. European Master Points will also be awarded.

If countries from outside Europe wish to participate in the event, their results will NOT be included in the final list for Master Points, although they will appear in the overall list on the site.

You can find the results from previous European Simultaneous Pairs by going to the relevant archive sections in the menu to your right.
